18 K gold pocket watch by John Kenable decorated with a painting on enamel depicting the Shepherdess of the Alps. The enamel scene is based on a painting by Angelica Kaufmann (1741 – 1807) and an engraving by Francesco Bartolozzi (1728 – 1815). The painting on enamel is attributed to the Swiss enamel painter Jean-Abraham Lissignol.
