Important pocket watch from the 19th century of museum quality. This « Montre à Tact » (N°694, Case N°1564) has been made for Mr Nitot, jeweller to the Emperor Napoleon and founder of the House Chaumet.

This watch is one of five luxurious souscription watches with exquisite large diamond ornamentation made for the members of the Bonaparte family.
