Description : Wonderful marble sculpture by the french artist Augustin Peene (1853 – 1913). This sculpture is the reduction of the life-size marble presented by the artist at the Salon of Paris in 1893 and at the World Exhibition in 1900. The life-size model is today exhibited in the Musée d’Orsay in Paris.
