The Italian sculptor L.Morelli 

The sculpture is signed « L. Morelli Florence ». L. Morelli was a higly skillfull sculptor active in Florence in the 1920’s. Althought the sources about 19th and 20th century italian workshops and sculptors are very poor, we find regularly the signature of A. and L. Morelli on high quality sculptures of mainly female beauties of the art deco period at art galleries and international fine art auctions.

Material : Sculpture in white Carrara marble and the base in black marble with veins (Portore).

Provenance : Sold to private collection.
