Monumental fountain « La Source » in white stone by Alfred Courtens (1889 – 1967)


« La source » is a fountain depicting two young girls standing in a shell gathering bunches of grapes. A ram’s head between the two girls is spitting water.

Signed and dated : Alfred Courtens 1927.

Now in the Château Pétrus, Bordeaux, France.
